Ingredients for CHICKEN CHINESE CHEESE SAMOSA

• Paste of:

7 green chillies

1 pc ginger

10 garlic buds

• For stuffing:

2 tbsp oil

¼ cup white portion of spring onions

1 cup grated carrots

1 cup capsicum sliced

1 tsp soya sauce

1 tsp chilli flakes

1 tsp white pepper powder

1 tsp vinegar

1 cup spring onions

salt to taste

500 gms shredded chicken (boiled with water and salt)

1 cup boiled noodles (boiled with water and salt)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

• For the slurry:

all-purpose flour

water

• Samosa strips (pre made)

• Egg (for brushing)

Steps for CHICKEN CHINESE CHEESE SAMOSA

1. To begin, we will first prepare a paste of green chillies, ginger and garlic in the grinder. You can even finely chop them

2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add in the prepared paste. Sauté on high flame for around a minute.

3. Next, toss in the spring onion whites and sauté them on high flame too (for one minute)

4. Add in the grated carrots and capsicum. Stir fry on high flame for a minute without letting the vegetables get soft

5. Pour in a teaspoon of soya sauce and then add in the chilli flakes, white pepper powder, vinegar and spring onions. Stir and mix well for a minute

6. Sprinkle salt keeping in mind that cheese and chicken (which will also contain salt) will be added later. Sauté on high flame for around a minute. Then set aside the mixture to cool

7. When the vegetable mixture cools down, add in shredded chicken, boiled noodles and shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix well.

8. To make the samosa, make a cone out of the samosa strips and fill it with the stuffing. Seal with the slurry of flour and water.

9. Grease the pan with oil and add in the samosas one by one. Brush with a whisked egg and cook until golden brown on both the sides.
