Oreo Biscuit Cake

How about turning your favourite biscuit into a cake?! Oreo is one such biscuit which is popularly used in making different desserts. This no oven, no egg oreo cake is super easy to make, it turns out soft and fluffy. Add choice of frosting or just relish it as evening snack with tea or coffee.

Ingredients for Oreo Biscuit Cake

� 1 cup salt

� 2 Packets Oreo Biscuit

� 2 Tbsp Sugar

� Oil or Butter

� Butter paper

� 1 Cup Milk

� 1 Tsp Baking Powder

Steps for Oreo Biscuit Cake

� Take a pan or a vessel. Make sure the bottom of the pan is thick. You can also use a pressure cooker. � Add 1 cup salt in the pan. Turn on the flame, cover with lead and heat at medium flame for 10 minutes. � We�re doing this to pre heat the pan just like we pre heat an oven. � Empty oreo biscuits in a bowl (about 120 gms each). Both packets will have 24 biscuits in total. � Break off the biscuits into two along with cream. Add the biscuits and sugar in a blending jar and crush them into fine powder. � Grease cake tin with oil and place a butter paper over it. If you do not have butter paper, sprinkle 1 tsp all purpose flour and dust evenly on all sides. � Add 1 cup of milk gradually in biscuit powder. Milk was cooked and cooled down earlier. Milk shouldn�t be chilled or hot. � Consistency of batter shouldn�t be too thick or nor too thin. � Add baking powder and mix properly. If you do not have baking powder, add fruit salt (1 sachet of ENO). � Pour the batter in cake tin and tap it on a flat surface. Remove air bubbles from the batter, if any. � To bake � reduce to low flame and place cake tin in the pan. Use a ring or bowl as a stand. � Cover with lid and cook on high flame for 5-6 minutes. � Adjust on medium flame and cook for 20-25 minutes. � Poke a skewer and check if the cake is baked well. The skewer should come out clean and un-sticky. � Turn off the flame and remove the tin carefully. Let the cake cool down and demould by turning it upside down using a plate. � Carefully remove the butter paper and serve.
